This is fasting technique as well as modified. You can take 5 bites of anything that you can think of. It can be 5 lettuce bites, 5 chicken bites or 5 chocolate bites. You can mix and match these bites as long as it’s 5 bites. The general rule is if when you bite, it’s hard for you to do 1 swallow then it is too much.
Taking a multivitamin a day is needed because it will help restore the nutrients that you lost during your fasting state. It is important to note that 1 protein bite is crucial daily.

3. Take Five Bites at Dinner

The same concept of eating five bites at lunch also works here at dinner. One important goal here is take those bites slowly as possible and go do other things with the remaining time. You can try a new hobby or do a current hobby longer.
Many people like this diet because you are not restricted to a certain type of food. You can actually eat anything as long as its only 5 bites. You can eat ice cream, cookies or even cheesecake.

4. Take One Multivitamin Everyday

Dr. Lewis affirms that you need to take multivitamins when you’re on this diet to supplement the nutrients that your body is not consuming because of limited caloric intake. You need minerals and vitamins to function and help maintain your body. You also need to take fish oil, omega 3 capsule daily.

5. Avoid Dehydration by Drinking Plenty of Water

Always think about what type of protein you are going to consume on a daily basis. A snicker for example has protein grams. Make sure that what you bite even at lunch or dinner is balanced; that there is fat, carbohydrates and protein in your meal. A few examples or protein sources are fish, beef, turkey, chicken and tofu.

6. A Bite Sized Snack in Between Meals

You can take a small bite in between meals to help with controlling the hunger pangs.

This diet is patterned with surgery patients who went under the knife to lose weight. They need to eat only small food amounts 2 to 3x daily. They will not have to deal with surgery complications if they follow this diet.
